From Books on Spiritual Abuse

Posted by Borz Lom (Löma) Nal on October 10, 2009

In CAIC website, I found some interesting excerpts from books on spiritual abuse.

1. Uncovering Churches that Abuse People This is a list of questions which helps to identify abusive churches, taken from Recovering from Churches That Abuse, by Ronald Enroth. Originally, this list was published in Recovering from Spiritual Abuse website. However, this site is also in GeoCities and will be closed in October 26.

2. Elements of Spiritual Abuse This list of the elements of abusive relationships which the authors call “shame-based relationships” is from The Subtle Power of Spiritual Abuse by David Johnson and Jeff VanVonderen.

3. Healthy Faith vs. Unhealthy Faith Adapted from: Faith that Hurts Faith that Heals by Stephen Arterburn & Jack Felton (formally called Toxic Faith)
